Treñas Bill Converting WVCST into a State University Approved by Both Houses of Congress
The Western Visayas College of Science and Technology (WVCST) is now the newest state university in the region following the approval of ts conversion by the Senate during its third and final reading on February 4. The conversion grants the WVCST with the same powers and responsibilities as other state universities in Iloilo City, like the University of the Philippines and the West Visayas State University.
