With its passage into law, the WVCST will be renamed the Iloilo Science and Technology University or ISAT University. “This is the realization of our ream–to place WVCST in the status of a state university. This is our gift to every Ilonggo,” said Cong. Jerry P. Treñas. The Ilonggo solon introduced House Bill No. 4432, which proposed the conversion of WVCST into a state university. Earlier, Cong.
